Why does Easy Barcode Creator activate my fonts in Suitcase?

Easy Barcode Creator builds a list of installed fonts on launch so it can A) display a list of those fonts to the user, and B) reference those fonts should the user decide not to use one of the built-in OCR fonts. Among other things, Easy Barcode Creator needs the PostScript name of the font for use B, so it looks at each font and figures those out on launch.

As a Mac application, Easy Barcode Creator should be able to access any and all fonts at its discretion. The type of font "activation" that a program like Suitcase uses is a hack that tricks programs into thinking that fonts are installed that really aren't. For this reason, we'd suggest against using Suitcase (but you might not consider that to be an option).
