Why does the Illustrator or Photoshop button open a different app?

When Easy Barcode Creator sends a barcode image to Illustrator, it saves a temporary file and then opens that file in the requested application. If your system has been set to automatically open EPS files in a different application (like Photoshop or something else), this can cause the temporary file to open in the wrong application.

To fix the association:

1. Save an EPS file from Easy Barcode Creator to your desktop.
2. Right-click on the EPS file you created and select "Get Info".
3. In the Info window, what is listed under "Open With"? If Preview is listed, this means all EPS files have been set to open in Preview on your system. Select Illustrator under the "Open With" option and then click the "Change All" button. This will set any EPS file to open with Illustrator.
